Plague Tale Innocence is filled to the brim with grisly imagery, as it follows the hardships of Amicia and Hugo, a sister and brother trying to survive the early part of the Hundred Years’ War. The game travels through dark tunnels and open field alike, as the siblings explore the decaying landscape of France in the 1300’s.
Together, they must fight off guards, rats, disease, and famine, as well as solve survival puzzles to traverse the dire terrain. With tools like a slingshot, fire, and other items, the De Rune siblings literally have to find a way to outrun the Black Death itself.
