What the Bonus Objectives Reward Is in Northgard

Northgard’s missions are split into two categories: main objectives and bonus objectives. While you will have to complete all of the main objectives in order to see the game through to the end, the bonus objectives are not required, and are just extra little side things that you can work on if you desire. You may be wondering if you actually get a reward for completing the bonus objectives. The answer is yes – two rewards in fact.

The main reward for completing these in Northgard is achievements. Like many Steam games, Northgard will reward you for the dedication that you put in with that little “Achievement Unlocked” message that pops up in the corner of your screen. Of course, this will update your Steam profile letting whoever views it know that you conquered Northgard’s optional objectives.

The second reward is actually pretty neat, but it requires a bit more work than simply completing the bonus objectives. If you manage to beat all of the missions on hard and complete all of the bonus objectives, you will be rewarded with a Warchief skin that you can equip your heroes with in single-player and multiplayer! Both of these requirements don’t have to be met at the same time; you can do the bonus missions on easy if you like, which will make it quite a bit easier for you.
