How to Get Marble in My Time at Portia & What It’s Used For
My Time at Portia has recently released on consoles, after being in early access on PC for a while now. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get marble in My Time at Portia and what it is used for.
Crafting is one of the biggest aspects of My Time at Portia because much of what you do is based around exploring the world for materials and building. Many of the crafting recipes in the game require marble, which isn’t always easy to get your hands on.
Where to Find It
The best way to get it is to mine it from the darker rocks that you’ll find on the outside of the town’s walls or around the outside edges of the collapsed lake in the Collapsed Wasteland. The rocks you’re looking have a sort of blue and grey pattern on them. Mining them seems to see marble drop more often than other rocks.
You are also able to get marble by recycling anything that it used to craft. You will also get some back if you recycle the Armor of a Knight.
What Is Crafted Using It in My Time at Portia
There are a few items that are particularly useful in the game that need the material to be crafted. The full list is:
- Talisman – 2 Marble + 2 Wood
- Stone Table – 20 Stone + 2 Marble
- Coral Tree – 5 Marble + 1 Starlight Coral + 2 Purple Resin
- Fish Display – 2 Marble + 4 Hardwood Plank + 4 Glass
- Removable Battery – 3 Marble + 8 Bronze Bar + 3 Power Stone + 2 Spring
- Plank – 3 Marble
The first two in that list require a Worktable to produce, the second two require an Assembly Station, and the Plank requires a Cutter.
It can also be given as a gift to all characters in My Time at Portia, with most having a neutral reaction to it.
