Modern Warfare is the latest Call of Duty title to come to our consoles and PC’s courtesy of the folk over at Infinity Ward and Activision. With Multiplayer back and bigger than ever, there’s a good chance you’re going to spend a ton of time in the mode. To personalize your character, you might want to equip a variety of cosmetics to your Operator, including weapons charms. Here’s how to get Charms in Modern Warfare and what they do.
Getting Charms in Modern Warfare
As part of the new Gunbench feature introduced in Modern Warfare, players can now customize their weapons to a greater extent than ever before. Players can unlock a majority of weapon customization options by simply using and racking up kills with the gun, but charms are a little different.
To get Charms in Modern Warfare, you’ll first need to make sure you’re in the Multiplayer mode. From here, select the ‘Barracks’ tab at the top of the screen and here you should find a ‘Multiplayer Challenges’ menu.
In here, you’ll then have two tabs you can switch between. Daily Challenges tend to grant XP, but the ‘Missions’ tab offers a variety of cosmetic rewards for completing a series of objectives.
On this screen, you can select a different Mission with the left analog stick or d-pad, and then use the LT/ L2 and RT/R2 triggers to see the rewards for completing each objective in the Mission. Some of these rewards are charms, as shown in the image above for the ‘Well Equipped’ Mission’s sixth objective.
Completing these Missions can net you a bunch of different rewards from XP and weapon skins, right through to these charms you’re so desperately after. As such, to get Charms in Modern Warfare, you’ll simply want to focus on completing any of these Missions that reward you with one for completing their objectives.
