Tip 2: Make the Right Story Choices
How to Get Called Up in RTTS in MLB The Show 21
We hope you enjoyed the perk and RPG-like management from last year because it’s back again this year in full force with some new additions as well.
Making nice with your teammates and becoming friends with them will enhance your play on the field, making it easier to accomplish everything we described in Tip 1. So yeah don’t make your life more difficult. When you talk to your teammates in the clubhouse, make sure you pick dialog options that are going to help you accomplish whatever your personal goals are.
Avoid being difficult to work with. This is especially true when it comes to the case of your manager (and for real-life outside of MLB The Show 21if we’re being honest).
If your manager asks you to change positions, give it a try if your goal is to get called up in RTTS in the shortest amount of time possible. They are offering you this route for a reason, it’s likely because they need help in the position. Check the depth chart first though to make sure, and if you see a lack of good players, go for that position if it’s offered to you.
If you’re in a dead-end spot though, explore trades and free agency as soon as you get an agent a couple of years into RTTS in MLB The Show 21. Sign with a team that actually has a need for your talents and you’ll stick around in the majors longer and play the way that you want.
