This is going to be hard for a lot of you to understand, but it’s really important that you hear us out if you’re someone that’s trying to grind their way to the top of Diamond Dynasty in MLB The Show 19.

Don’t buy packs unless you literally have nothing else you want to do with the Stubs.

Buying packs is like gambling at the casino. Sure, will one of you hit jackpot, pull Mike Trout, and call me an idiot for telling you not to buy packs. Yes, that will happen.

But for every one person that gets a sweet diamond pull, there are legions of other players spending all of their hard earned Stubs on packs just to get nothing back but a lousy Silver or a Bronze. The odds are not good.

If you never buy a pack, and just save all your Stubs, you’ll eventually just be able to straight up buy most of the the diamond cards you could ever want or need. I learned that the hard way last season.

I saved up and bought lots of mega pack bundles and literally did not pull a single Diamond all season long.

Yes, I didn’t listen to my own advice and I paid the price. Even with the increased drop rates this year, we don’t suggest it.

At least spend the extra money, and go play Battle Royale if you want to get a pack. You can at least have a shot at getting additional diamonds through Battle Royale.

Okay, now that you know how to not to lose the Stubs you grinded for, let’s talk about making money into more money.
