Metal Gear Survive Tips and Tricks for Beginners

Metal Gear Survive features a leveling system, complete with skill points that can be used to kit out your avatar. You’ll gain levels by completing mission objectives in the campaign and in co-op mode, and new skills can be unlocked with Kuban Energy. This is important; you can’t increase your stats if you don’t have enough Kuban Energy to do so. Thankfully, this can be obtained by breaking red crystals and killing enemies and Fulton-ing them away once you’ve unlocked the recovery system.

Leveling can be done at the Skill Trainer box at your base camp. From here, you can access a skill tree and level up your strength, vitality, dexterity, and more. Increasing your vitality and health meter is always useful, but don’t forget to check the rest of the skill tree as well to see which perks will best suit your play style in Metal Gear Survive.
