In the early parts of MediEvil PS4, you’re going to come across various objects such as spikes, boulders, false walls, etc. that are going to impede your progress. In case your memory is fuzzy, or you’re new to the game, in this guide we’re going to go over how to break boulders, spikes, and other similar impediments in MediEvil PS4.
How to Break Boulders, Spikes, Walls in MediEvil PS4
MediEvil is a puzzle game under the guise of PS1-era action combat. For as much time as you’ll be whacking the undead over the head with various sharp and blunt objects, you’ll be using everything at your disposal to try and navigate through the treacherous levels of Gallowmere and MediEvil PS4.
Sometimes, puzzles and weapons combine as you’ll need to use specific one to clear the way in order to progress in a given level.
You’ll need to figure this out for yourself (or read this guide) early on in order to figure out how to clear out spikes, boulders, false walls, and other stuff blocking your path.
In the second level you’ll gain access to the Club, a smashing weapon that not only does slow/powerful damage to enemies but can also be used to smash certain objects.
If you’re picking up what we’re putting down here, you’ve probably already surmised that in order to break boulders, spikes, and other objects in MediEvil PS4, you’ll need to use the Club.
Press and hold Circle to charge up a big Club smash attack and blam, smash your way forward with safety.
Clubs have limited use, but once you find three Chalice of Souls, you’ll be able to get the Hammer which will let you smash away as much as you want without having to worry about finding new clubs. Until you get the Hammer, considering saving Clubs for when you need them to smash something rather than using them for combat.
