Use the Auto-Quest
Tips and Tricks for Beginners in MapleStory M
If you’re not busy chasing monsters or looking for resources in MapleStory M, you’ll be doing plenty of quests to pass the time. The main mission is simple enough, requiring you to head back and forth between areas, talk to NPCs, or slay monsters. While these quests aren’t terribly difficult, you might find yourself getting lost or forgetting where exactly you need to be.
Luckily, MapleStory M does have a nifty auto-quest feature that, as the name implies, lets the game do the quest for you. During the auto-quest, the only real time you need to use your avatar is when talking to an NPC, so you won’t even have to worry about attacking enemies in MapleStory M. That being said, if the auto-quest does sound too easy for you, you can disable it at any time in the game. If anything, it’s a great way to get to your objective without getting sidetracked.
Chase Those Rewards
Tips and Tricks for Beginners in MapleStory M
Following auto-quests, you generally want to be doing as many missions as you can in MapleStory M. These quests usually come with some pretty hefty rewards, such as EXP, weapons, items, and Mesos, and you can pretty much clear them without so much as a glance at your phone. However, do take note that you can even claim rewards outside of quests, as the game is pretty generous by showering players with daily login bonuses, event rewards, milestones, achievements, and even rest rewards. The important thing to remember about rewards, however, is that you have to manually claim them from your calendar and mailbox before you can find them in your inventory.
Pick Your Best Class
Tips and Tricks for Beginners in MapleStory M
Before officially starting an adventure in MapleStory M, players have to create their own personal avatar and job class. There are five classes to choose from: Dark Knight, Bishop, Night Lord, Bow Master, and Corsair, that each come with their own specific skill set and abilities. One difficult decision new players might have with the game is picking the best class in MapleStory M, especially if they plan on using that character for their main account.
When it comes down to picking the strongest class in the game, each job has their own specific strengths and weaknesses. On top of that, there isn’t much of a difference between their base attack power, and you can still enhance their stats through the different equipment in MapleStory M. Ultimately, your choice simply falls down to personal preference and your favorite play style.
Level Up Your Items
Tips and Tricks for Beginners in MapleStory M
Having the strongest character in MapleStory M isn’t just about reaching the highest level in the game but also maintaining your equipment. While you do have the option of swapping your current gear for more powerful equipment, you could also invest in leveling up certain items by using your forge instead. When leveling your current items, you can fuse two of the same equipment together or use refining powder instead. Using your forge is one of the best ways to get better gear, especially when you are still early on in the game.
Don’t Forget Your Daily Dungeons
Tips and Tricks for Beginners in MapleStory M
Once you reach a certain level in the MapleStory M, you can unlock special dungeons that come with some useful rewards. These dungeons are separate from the typical quests in the game and can actually be quite difficult, depending on which one you plan on tackling. If you’re new to MapleStory M, you want to focus on completing Daily Quests, which give players with jewels that enhance stats.
Once you’re a bit more confident with your skills, however, you might want to try your hand at Elite Quests, which are harder dungeons with better rewards. Moreover, it’s advised that you do bring a party along for Elite Quests since you will be facing waves of powerful monsters. Once you do clear an Elite Quest, you can use Sweep Tickets to instantly clear the same dungeon without having to face the same hoard of enemies.
