Towards the very end of Life Is Strange 2 Episode 2, Daniel will take no for an answer no more. He wants to get inside their mom’s old room at their grandparent’s place. Rather than have him blast the door off the hinges with his powers, though, you can opt to find the key. Here’s where Karen’s room key is in Life Is Strange 2 episode 2.

The first place you’re going to want to check is the grandparent’s bedroom. While you’re more than free to do so, you’re not going to find the key in there.

Instead, if you want to get the key straight away, head into the bathroom just to the left of Karen’s room, and make your way to the laundry basket that you had to empty earlier on in the episode.

First, you’ll need to ‘Look’ at it, as you do most other items and points of interest in Life Is Strange 2 to begin with. Once you’ve done that, you’ll then be given the option to ‘Search.’ Low and behold, when Sean dives into the laundry basket, he manages to find Karen’s room key sitting inside the cardigan of their grandmother.

Now all you need to do is walk back over to Karen’s room’s door, and press X on PS4 or A on Xbox One to open it and head inside.
