Which Team Should You Join in Jump Force?

Recommended Videos

Jump Force brings together some of the most iconic manga franchises of all time, letting you finally decide who would win in a fight between Goku and Naruto. The story of Jump Force has the heroes teaming up to stop a threat trying to destroy the world, and each of the teams on the force serves a different role. Here’s which team you should join in Jump Force.

Before you choose which team you want to be on you’ll have to play through the opening of the game and get to Umbra Base. There Director Glover will introduce you to Alpha, Beta, and Gamma, led by Goku, Monkey D. Luffy, and Naruto respectively.

Go around and talk to all three then talk to Director Glover in the south command room and you’ll get to make your choice. The good news is that your choice of team really only affects things at the beginning of the game.

The team you join will decide what abilities you start with, so in our case, we chose Gamma with Naruto and had ninja-based abilities like Rasengan and Fire Jutsu. This ultimately doesn’t mean much, however, as you can buy any ability in the game with Gold, so it’s just a matter of playing missions to make money.

Outside of your initial skills, your choice will play into rankings for each Operation in a Season. These are basically live events that play out as time goes on, with the Active Points you earn going into your team ranking. You can see more about what Active Points are here, but the team that wins at the end of each Operation will get a reward, things like crafting materials.

Hopefully, that clears up which team you should join in Jump Force. If you need any more help or tips for the game make sure to search Twinfinite, or take a look at our growing Jump Force guide wiki.
