Combining different characters’ strengths is something you’ll want to learn how to do sooner rather than later in Jump Force. That’s why we’re here to help with a guide on how to use team attacks in Jump Force.

How to Team Attack

A mechanic that isn’t laid out as well as it could be in the game, teammate attacks are a quick and easy way to interrupt an enemy’s flow and open up an opportunity for you to put them in a combo.

All you need to do is hold the L2 button on PlayStation 4 or LT on Xbox One to use team attacks in Jump Force. This allows you to quickly summon in your next selected team member to deliver a super attack to your opponent.

This can be stacked on top of your own combo or super attack to increase the amount of damage you deal to an opponent in one go, or used to break out of a combo your opponent has you stuck in, by staggering them with damage from the side.

However, there are risks to using this handy move.

Weaknesses of Using Team Attacks in Jump Force

If you try to use one while your opponent is firing off a super attack, the teammate you summon in is likely to be hit by the super before they can unleash their own.

If this occurs, you’ll receive damage to your health equal to the damage they suffer while they’re summoned in. Likewise, there will be a cooling period before you can use a team attack again, leaving you vulnerable if you fire it off at the wrong time.

To that end, it’s important to time your team attacks properly in Jump Force so that they help you instead of pushing you closer towards defeat.

Wait for your opponent to be distracted by your main fighter before summoning a teammate in Jump Force, or at the very least make sure they won’t be able to suck your summoned teammate into a super attack when they’re summoned.

Hopefully this helped you figure out how to use team attacks. Jump Force is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. For more tips, tricks and secrets, check out our Jump Force guide wiki.
