How to Heal Your Health (Nano Meds) in Islands of Nyne

Recommended Videos

When it comes to Battle Royale titles, the only thing standing between you and death can be a well-cultivated supply of healing items. Islands of Nyne is no exception to this, and we’re here to give you all you need to know about its restorative Nano Meds and how to use them.

Scattered throughout each map, Nano Meds can restore a set amount of 50 percent health to any player. They can also be used to revive any player that has been incapacitated but not killed in the Duos and Squads modes, though they must be used by another player on an incapacitated target. It’s important to note that they aren’t given to players at the outset and are limited in supply, so it’s typically better to secure as many as possible sooner rather than later. Like Grenades, they occupy a utility slot, and while they are normally limited to two per player, a third can be carried if an Extra Capacity Unit is acquired.

Using Nano Meds is simple: While one or more are in a player’s inventory, they can then be equipped with the H button and used by clicking the left mouse button.

The best times to use healing items are when there is ample cover and protection from incoming fire. Should you find yourself in need of healing, make your way toward said cover and ensure there will be ample time for the item to be used before pursuing players catch up. If you find yourself in a situation where cover is unavailable, do your best to distract other players with a grenade or pepper them with bullet fire before switching to the Nano Meds, and then use them while their sights aren’t fixed on you.

Also, be sure to maximize their restorative effects and save them for when they’re absolutely necessary; in other terms, don’t use them unless you’re at or below 50 percent health.
