Hitman 3: How to Open the Map

Hitman 3 brings more of the sandbox assassination gameplay the series is now well-renowned for to our screens. There are six new locations for players to do their creative killing in, and you’ll likely want to know the layout of each of these so you can plan your route in and out effectively so you can go by undetected. In this guide, we’ll talk you through how to open the map in Hitman 3.

Opening the Map in Hitman 3

To open the map, all you need to do is press the View button on Xbox (the one to the left of the Xbox home button), the touchpad on PS4/PS5, and M on PC.

This will then bring up a map view of the floor you’re currently on, but some locations will have multiple levels. You can use LT and RT (L2 and R2) to move up and down each of the levels of the map, and use the left analog stick to zoom in and out.

You can do this at any time throughout a level, and doing so will pause the action in-game, so you won’t have to worry about being spotted while you’re checking the layout of the locale.

Once you’re all done looking at the map, you can simply press B/ Circle/ Esc to exit out of the menu and get yourself straight back into the action.

That’s everything you need to know on how to open the map in Hitman 3. For more tips, tricks and guides, head on over to our wiki, search for Twinfinite, or check out more of our coverage on the game below.
