Hearthstone’s 12th expansion is called Saviours of Uldum and it adds another 135 cards to collect. Among them are the one-mana quest cards that have become a mainstay of new expansions since the Journey to Un’Goro expansion. Once played, these cards offer quests that, once completed, alter your heroes’ spell power to something more powerful. Here’s how to beat the Making Mummies quest, which changes the Paladin spell to Emperor Wraps.
How to Get Making Mummies
All Saviors of Uldum cards can be earned by purchasing themed decks from the shop. You can use the gold you have earned from playing Hearthstone’s various modes or real world money.
Otherwise, Saviors of Uldum cards like Bazaar Burglary can be earned as a reward for winning Arena games, or by completing the various single-player game modes introduced with the expansion.
If you have Arkane Dust to burn then you can always craft the cards, too. Here are the costs for Making Mummies:
Crafting cost
- Making Mummies – 1,600
- Golden Making Mummies – 3,200
Disenchanting
- Making Mummies – 400
- Golden Making Mummies – 1,600
How to Beat Making Mummies Quest & Get Emperor Wraps in Hearthstone
Once you have the card, the Making Mummies quest tasks you with playing five reborn cards. More reborn cards have been introduced in Saviours of Uldum, so you’ll be making use of these here. Once you have completed the quest you’ll get Emporer Wraps, which grants you the ability to summon a 2/2 copy of a minion already on the board.
Here are some cards we recommend to complete this quest:
- Murmy (1)
- Ancestral Guardian (4)
- Kangor’s Endless Army (7)
- Robosaur (8)
- Da Undertakah (8)
This ability can be used as a big swing in the mid to late game if you break out cards like Mechano-eggs to boost with Emporer Wraps; then, in combination with Kangor’s Endless army, when they die you’ll get more robosaurs gives this power huge potential. Also, cards like Zillax and Deathrattles will really benefit from this skill. Obviously, copying Undertakah will also be a huge boon.
Clearly, you’ll want to prioritize minions over spells to make the most of this ability.
That should give you a good handle on how to beat the Making Mummies quest, which changes the Paladin spell to Emperor Wraps in Hearthstone. For more Saviours of Uldum guides, keep it locked to Twinfinite.
