H1Z1 finally has a release on console, making its way to PS4. It’s already making a big splash, too, with over 1.5 million players recorded on its first day out in the wild. As you’d imagine with any beta, let alone a game that’s been ported to console from PC, there are server instabilities and technical issues that developer Daybreak will be looking fix. And, indeed, yesterday, players were reporting issues logging into servers. Daybreak has since responded, and there’s already a new update for the game. Called update 1.11, the new update fixes stuttering and lag issues while also adding stability and performance improvements.

So far, the full patch notes we have are as follows:

  • Added Performance and stability improvements
  • H1Z1 PS4 update 1.11 added fixes for Stuttering/lag issues

If you were struggling to load into H1Z1 servers prior to the patch’s release, you might find the issue now solved.
