Oceanhorn: Monster of the Uncharted Seas

games like zelda for ps4

Oceanhorn aims for a classic take on the Zelda series, revolving around a young boy who recently lost his father and sets off on an epic quest. From the art direction down to the gameplay, it’s pretty clear that Oceanhorn took its fair share of inspiration from the Nintendo franchise.

The game features an explorable map with different islands. Each area has its own dungeon that’s packed with monsters, so you’ll have to use your tools to defeat them. These dungeons are filled with different puzzles (such as switch pulling and block-pushing) that the Zelda series is pretty much known for.

However, the similarities don’t end there. Players can even find hidden hearts and coins by slashing bushes. You can also go around talking to NPCs, collecting heart pieces, and taking on additional quests on your adventure.

If you’re looking for a more classic Zelda experience on the PS4, Oceanhorn definitely hits the mark.
