Bayonetta 1 + 2
When you think about the best action games of all time, it’s hard not to think about Bayonetta. She has really high heels, two loaded pistols, and she can fight with her hair –come on, you cannot tell me that that’s not cool.
Bayonetta’s combat is very similar to Devil May Cry’s as it relies heavily on juggling your foes and going for those high combos. By using all of her assets to the best of your ability, you’ll be knocking out demons in no time flat.
Bayonetta 2 does a great job at improving upon the combat and turns the dial up a notch on the wacky story and the characters from the previous game, making it a very good sequel. You may not get to play as multiple characters like you do in NieR Automata but do you really need anyone else besides Bayonetta?
You can definitely finish both of those games pretty quickly as they’re not too long while we wait for Bayonetta 3, whenever that game decides to come out.
Bayonetta 2 is only available on the Switch and Wii U right now but you can still play the first one on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
