The Culling takes some inspiration from traditional battle royale elements, specifically from the Japanese show with the same name. 16 players will be placed in a jungle forest biome where they’ll have to fight to the death. Since you won’t be facing against waves of other players, matches go by much faster. On top of that, fights are much more personal, focusing on gory close-ranged combat. You won’t have to worry too much about that camping sniper sitting atop the tower you can’t possibly reach. There’s also a giant scoreboard in the sky that tallies your kills, giving off a Hunger Games-esque vibe throughout each match. While the player base might have dwindled, The Culling is still worth looking into if you’re a fan of Fortnite.
