How to Watch Match Replays in Fortnite Battle Royale
Epic has recently added a match replays system to Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode on consoles and PC. The tool is surprisingly deep, allowing you to watch past games at your leisure and edit them as you go, which might be why it’s not currently available on mobile versions. If you’re trying to watch a particular match back, here’s how you do so.
Head to your career menu and select ‘replays’. Here, you’ll find all the videos that have been stored, with information on when the match was played, how long the video is, and where you finished in the particular match. This makes finding the right one much easier. Simply highlight the one you’re after and press A/X if you’re on console (click if you’re on PC) and it’ll begin to play. You’ll then be able to tinker with what exactly is being shown. You can pause, fast forward, and rewind at will, and can even switch between which player you’re watching. If you’re trying to create a more cinematic replay video, you can zoom in and out, alter the HUD options, and skip backwards and forward in 15 second chunks.
