Fire Emblem Three Houses’ fourth wave of DLC has arrived in the form of Cindered Shadows. Telling an all-new, standalone story and including a number of new students called the Ashen Wolves, there’s a ton of new content for players to get their hands on. But what parts of this carry over to your main playthrough or save in Fire Emblem Three Houses?
What You Can Carry Over from Cindered Shadows into Fire Emblem Three Houses
There’s actually quite a lot of new content that can be carried over from Cindered Shadows into your main playthrough. We’ve listed it all down below:
- New Characters
- New Classes
- Support Conversations
- New Paralogues
To unlock each of these things in the main game itself, you’ll need to make your way to certain points within the DLC.
After clearing Chapter 1 of Cindered Shadows, you’ll unlock the explorable area, Abyss, in the main game.
However, to get the new Ashen Wolves students and the support conversations and paralogues that come with them, you’ll need to continue progressing even further into the DLC itself. Specifically, you need to clear up to Chapter 6 to unlock all four new playable characters. This will then enable you to recruit them in part one of the main game.
You’ll also be able to unlock the new classes introduced in Cindered Shadows in the main game, too. However, to actually get them for yourself, you’ll need to get Abyssian Exam Passes and use these to unlock them. The four new classes introduced in the DLC are as follows:
- Dark Flier
- War Monk/ Cleric
- Trickster
- Valkyrie
There you have everything you need to know about what goodies you can carry over from Cindered Shadows to your main playthrough in Fire Emblem Three Houses. Check out our wiki for more tips and tricks on the main game. We’ve also got a guide for how to start the DLC, too, if you’re struggling to figure it out.
