Farming Simulator 17 is a true to life simulator for farming. Naturally, you’re going to be doing a ton of different tasks, and it might be smart to hire workers to help you out around the farm. Especially as your land expands and you get more and more area that you need to cover. Luckily, it’s very easy, and not that expensive, to do this.
When you want to hire a worker, you first need to make sure they’ll know what job they will be doing. So, when it’s time to cultivate, plow, or sow your land, get in the appropriate vehicle you own and now is when you need to hire them. I like to align the vehicle perfectly on the land plot I want them to work. Then, hold down L1 or LB and hit the hire button. You can then leave your vehicle, and your worker will continue on. If they get stuck, or once they complete their task, you will get a message on your right-hand side of the screen.
That’s really all there is to workers in Farming Simulator 17. They will keep on working that plot of land, and have great driving skills to ensure they get every last bit of it. Keep an eye on your funds to make sure you’re not wasting too much. Oh, and remember to load up on whatever crops one of your workers may harvest. They won’t be delivering for you, so your crops will just sit in that vehicle, waiting.
