Water Overhaul

8 Best Fallout 4 Mods of June 2018

Fallout 4 is all about immersion and keeping yourself glued to the universe inside the game, but it can get a little distracting when you come across some freaky textures in the game. If you’re not satisfied with the water quality in Fallout 4, you can use this mod to have the best-looking water in the Commonwealth. The mod is the biggest water overhaul to date and covers the following:

  • Water reflects the surface better.
  • Better liquid effects, everything from foam to caustics, even blood splatters.
  • Normalized water color to look as real-life as possible.
  • From 4K to 2K, you choose your eye candy.

Metal Detector

Remember those cool metal detectors you would take with you to the beach to dig up some spare change? Well, now you can use them in Fallout 4 thanks to this mod. The metal detector picks up items such as caps, ammo, and other metal items that are scatted on roads, floors, bridges, blimp catwalks, and pretty much any available surface in the game. Interestingly enough, your Luck stat plays a part in finding buried treasure, depending on the quality, quantity, and how often you find these items. After all, a little goes a long way when you’re looking for supplies in the Commonwealth.

Bobble Girl Loading Screen

If, for some reason, you don’t like the Bobblehead Boy in Fallout 4, you can switch him with a girl instead. This mod does exactly that, changing all of your loading screens to the cute Bobblehead Girl doing all sorts of crazy stunts on your screen. While the mod doesn’t add anything too drastic, it’s better than staring at the same loading screen time and time again.

Settlement Salvage Bot

8 Best Fallout 4 Mods of June 2018

If you’re a fan of the Scrap Zapper mod from last month, you’re going to love the Settlement Salvage Bot mod. This little guy floats around your colony and collects any clutter lying around the area. More importantly, however, all of the salvaged material is brought over to the Settlement Workshop. That means you won’t have to go around collecting trivial materials and can just head straight into crafting. Moreover, your Salvage Bot will not collect anything that will adversely affect your settlement, so you won’t have to worry about anything important heading to your personal scrapyard.

Self Radio

8 Best Fallout 4 Mods of June 2018

Walking through the Commonwealth alone in Fallout 4 can get pretty lonely, but it’s a good thing you have your Pip-Boy to play some sweet tunes on your adventure. If you’re not a fan of the music that comes along with it, you can use this mod to put your own tracks in the game. There’s currently a limited number of songs you can put in, but the modder will be increasing the slots soon. Now you can finally play Shake It Off while roaming through the Commonwealth, because why not?

Wave Spawner

8 Best Fallout 4 Mods of June 2018

Are your combat skills a bit rusty? Maybe you just want to test out your base’s new defenses? Or could it be you just love the monsters in Fallout 4? Whatever the case, you can summon those horrifying creatures at any time with this Fallout 4 mod. As the name implies, you’ll be calling on waves upon waves of enemies, so you better be prepared before using it. The options are fairly flexible, letting you choose from five categories of monsters and how long you want them to keep spawning. Moreover, these enemies can be grouped in 1, 5, 15, 25, or 50, with the option for incremental waves and a fully adjustable timer.
