How to Get Hex Mark Horse in Dynasty Warriors 9

Recommended Videos

Dynasty Warriors 9 differs from other games in the series in that it features a large, fully explorable open world. As such, horses are more important than ever, and what better way to travel the country of China than with one of the series’ most regularly attending noble steeds, Hex Mark?

Hex Mark is a long-running staple to the series, debuting as a ridable mount all the way back in Dynasty Warriors 3, and is one of the fastest horses in the series. Naturally, fans would want to know how to unlock Hex Mark in Dynasty Warriors 9, so here’s what you need to know to do exactly that.

The general rule for unlocking horses in the game is that you have to complete the story mode of every character that owns the horse. In this instance, Hex Mark is owned by Liu Bei and Cao Cao. Completing both of these characters’ story modes will unlock the ability to purchase Hex Mark. Head over to the stable master at any of the cities’ stables, and Hex Mark will show up as a purchasable horse. Pony up the 50000 gold required, and you will be treated with your new mount.
