How to Play Beerus in Dragon Ball FighterZ (Special Moves and More)

God of Destruction Beerus is admittedly a bit of a strange character to play as in Dragon Ball FighterZ. He’s different from the rest of the cast in the game due to his reliance on projectile-based special moves, though he does possess a few tricks up his sleeve in the form of Ki Blasts that can be comboed together with regular attacks.

For starters, his purple aura takes on the form of orbs that you’ll frequently see onscreen in Dragon Ball FighterZ. Beerus can summon up to six of these spheres around him at any time, then use his special moves to send them toward the opponent and follow a hit with a teleportation attack. These orbs can be summoned individually too, if you want to deal incremental damage. Once on the field, Beerus can simply kick or punch one of the spheres toward the enemy to deal out a small hit.

Of course, Universe 7’s God is formidable when considering his moveset outside of projectiles too. Though not the most agile character, Beerus can attack from the air by using a powerful dive-punch. He can also use another one of his super moves to push back an enemy far away in a tunnel of wind. Should you be in a tough spot, another move from above rains out purple energy all around Beerus to blast away opponents.

Beerus also has a spirit bomb-esque super move in his arsenal that can deal monumental damage should you choose to let it float on screen before detonating on the enemy. It can be used in close range combat, though isn’t as effective should you want to subtract a lot of hit points from the opponent.

That’s all you need to know about how to play Beerus in Dragon Ball FighterZ. For even more tips on how to use him more effectively in combat, check out a video by way of YouTube channel Maximilian Dude down below.
