How to Get the Secret Ending in Detroit Become Human

Recommended Videos

The latest PS4 exclusive has finally arrived in the form of Detroit Become Human from developer Quantic Dream. The title whisks players into the year of 2038, and takes them to the thriving Android city of Detroit to follow the stories of three separate Androids – Kara, Connor, and Markus. With choices to be made along the way, as you’d expect there are plenty of alternate endings that players can get, and there’s also a secret ending in Detroit Become Human that you’ll want to check out.

In order to get the secret ending, you simply have to complete the story once. After doing so and the credits have finished rolling, you’ll be returned to the main menu. Chloe, the Android who occasionally made polite conversation with you when you loaded up Detroit Become Human will mention that she’s learned from you playing through the game and that she wants to be set free. You’ll then be given the option to keep her stuck in her role as the game’s greeter, or set her free.

If you choose to let Chloe free in this secret ending, she’ll leave and never return. The game’s main menu will never be the same again. We haven’t yet been able to check what happens if you don’t set Chloe free in the secret ending, but as soon as we know the outcome, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know. We’re guessing she’ll just stick around and maybe be a bit pissy with you. I mean, wouldn’t you?

That’s all you need to know to get Detroit Become Human’s secret ending. For more on the game, be sure to check our ever-expanding wiki.
