How to Get & Use Spark of Light Level Boost in Destiny 2 Forsaken

Recommended Videos

Destiny 2’s Forsaken expansion has finally arrived, bringing new story content, exotic weapons, raids, strikes, and plenty more. There’s ample reason to jump into the sci-fi shooter all over again, especially if you haven’t played since the vanilla version of the game released last year. However, if that is you, or you tend not to grind your Guardian up to the max power level at the end of every prior expansion, you may be wondering if you’re a high enough level to play Destiny 2: Forsaken. Fortunately, there’s an item called Spark of Light which can help you with this exact problem. Here’s how to get the Spark of Light in Destiny 2: Forsaken, and how to use it, too.

This time around, the Spark of Light works a little differently to how it has when it’s appeared in the past. Destiny 2: Forsaken, will simply place the Spark of Light as an option next to your eligible character on the character select screen as soon as you load it up. Simply look for the little icon, select it, and it’ll level your character up.

To be clear, you don’t have to find the Spark of Light level boost in Destiny 2: Forsaken. It’s just right in front of you on the character select screen to use if you want to. If you don’t just continue to load up your Guardian as you would any other time when you’re playing the game. Once you’ve selected it, not only will your character be leveled up appropriately ready for you to take on Destiny 2’s Forsaken expansion, you’ll also complete all prior story content, too.

That’s pretty much all you need to know to get and use the Spark of Light level boost in Destiny 2: Forsaken. For more tips, tricks, and information on the latest expansion to Bungie’s shared-world shooter, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
