Destiny 2: Forsaken Gambit Mode – Tips & Tricks for Winning
Tip 3: Pay Very Close Attention to The Score and Adapt to It
At all times during a game of Gambit, you can see the current score and progress of both your team and the opposing team. It is super important if you care about playing your very best, that you pay very close attention to that progress as it will guide the decision making of your team. Let me give you a couple of examples that you’ll surely run into while playing Gambit in Destiny 2: Forsaken.
If a portal to the other team is open, and your opponents don’t really have any motes on hand, invading the other side honestly might not be necessary. You can just continue to focus on collecting, banking and hopefully building a lead.
Or, consider a scenario where both teams are on the boss, if the combined efforts of the four of you can take it down and get the win, don’t send someone over to the other side just because you can.
On the flip side, if you’re way behind, say you’re still getting to 75 motes and the other team is on the boss, you’ll want to be constantly sending someone over as much as you possibly can to delay their progress and give you a chance to catch up.
The bottom line is, don’t default to the same game plan every game. You may prefer to play a certain style, but sometimes you’ll need to adapt, the scoreboard is what drives those choices.
That does it for Destiny 2: Forsaken Gambit Mode, tips. Best of luck this weekend, and
