Here’s how to complete Umbral Incursions in Destiny 2 Beyond Light.

After clearing the campaign, you’ll unlock new quests to take on from the Exo Stranger. These quests are called Umbral Incursions, and will usually require you to kill tough elite enemies with specific abilities.

With Beyond Light introducing new Stasis abilities, the Umbral Incursions also require you to defeat enemies with Stasis damage and slow enemies down before defeating them.

This sounds straightforward, but can actually be quite tricky to pull off if the timing isn’t right, and if you’re playing with a large group of players.

Completing Umbral Incursions in Destiny 2 Beyond Light

First off, you can complete these objectives in almost any activity in Destiny 2. Elite enemy kills (with the yellow HP bars) in Strikes, Lost Sectors, and Nightfall will all count, so pick the activity that you’re most comfortable with.

The trick here is to get these enemies down to their last bit of health, and save your melee or grenade Stasis abilities to finish them off for the kills to count towards your progress bar.

The Salvation’s Grip grenade launcher will also work for finishing them off if you already have it.

Another good way to try to get this quest step done quickly is by heading to the Blind Well at the Dreaming City, where you’ll be able to spawn tons of elite enemies for the Umbral Incursions.

This quest is definitely harder to clear when you’re with other players, as they can kill enemies quickly before you even get the chance to hit them with your Stasis abilities, so it’ll definitely take a bit of time.

That’s all you need to know about how to clear Umbral Incursions in Destiny 2 Beyond Light. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
