Getting the Hunter’s Mirror in Dead Cells

First things first, the Hunter’s Mirror is an item that can only be obtained from the Specialist’s Showroom, which is a special store that spawns in the Prisoners’ Quarters.

To unlock the Specialist’s Showroom blueprint, you’ll first need to unlock at least 20 items with the Collector, then pay 150 cells to get the Showroom to spawn 100% of the time in the Prisoners’ Quarters.

There is also a chance that the Showroom could spawn randomly, and it’s possible to get the Hunter’s Mirror blueprint from the store then. However, do note that the Showroom items are all locked behind golden doors, which means that you can either pay the required amount of gold to open them, or break them and receive a curse.

Either way, once you unlock the Specialist’s Showroom, head over and purchase the Hunter’s Mirror blueprint if you’ve got the gold. If you’re feeling brave, break the door for the blueprint without paying up.

Once you turn the blueprint in to the Collector, you’ll need to contribute 150 cells to unlock the Mirror itself, and it’ll always appear at the start of every run in the Prisoners’ Quarters.

How to Use It

The cool thing about the Hunter’s Mirror in Dead Cells is that whenever you look at it, it’ll show you an enemy type that still holds a blueprint that you’ve yet to obtain. This makes it much easier for players to keep track of which blueprints they’re missing, and will allow them to farm the right enemy types more easily.

However, do be warned that you can actually be spoiled on the game this way. The Hunter’s Mirror will also show enemy types that you’ve not encountered yet, so you might want to hold off on unlocking this until you’ve played through a fair bit of the game.

To recap, here’s how to get the Hunter’s Mirror in Dead Cells:

  1. Unlock the Specialist’s Showroom through the Collector or random spawn.

  2. Purchase the Hunter’s Mirror blueprint from the Showroom, or break the door to receive a curse instead.

  3. Give the blueprint to the Collector and spend 150 cells to unlock it.

  4. Use the Mirror to keep track of which enemy types still have blueprints to drop.

That’s all you need to know about how to get and use the Hunter’s Mirror in Dead Cells. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game. If you’re looking to get back into the game after a long hiatus, we’ve got some tips to help you out.
