Dark Souls Remastered takes players back to the gruesome and intimidating beginnings of one of the industry’s most iconic and influential franchises. Thanks to a stable 60fps frame rate and improved lighting and particle effects, the game looks and runs brilliantly. But in terms of new content, this is very much just a straight port with no new modes or features (other than some improved co-operative matchmaking and tiny qualify of life tweaks).
