One of the biggest appeals for any new Dark Souls III content is the inclusion of hidden armor and weapons waiting to be discovered. In the same fashion as all of the previous Souls DLC, there is a fairly versatile amount of gear to collect and use on your foes. While some of these items come as drops for beating a certain boss, others must be acquired by locating them out in the world.
Here are all the new weapons, spells, and armor sets that are in Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel, as well as some guides as to where to find them:
Ashes of Ariandel – New Weapons
- Valorheart
- Friede’s Great Scythe
- Rose of Ariandel
- Onyx Blade
- Crow Quills
- Crow Talons
- Millwood Battle Axe
- Millwood Greatbow
- Earth Seeker
- Quakestone Hammer
- Follower Javelin
- Follower Torch
- Follower Shield
- Follower Sabre
- Pyromancer’s Parting Flame
- Ethereal Oak Shield
Ashes of Ariandel – New Spells
- Snap Freeze
- Frozen Weapon
- Floating Chaos
- Way of White Corona
Ashes of Ariandel – New Armor Sets:
- Follower Knight Set
- Millwood Knight Set
- Slave Knight’s Set
- Vilhem’s Set
It’s important to note that there are no new staffs, whips, or spears introduced with this DLC, which is a bit disappointing for mages. If you are looking to collect all this loot it should take you around 2 to 5 hours depending on your skill level and if you’re on New Game +.
