How to Get the Otto Idol Legendary Artifact in Borderlands 3

Without a doubt, the Otto Idol is easily one of the most powerful Legendary artifacts you can get in Borderlands 3, thanks to its useful perk. While you do have a chance of getting it from any loot source in the game, including killing bosses, enemies, and opening chests, you can increase your chances by farming Tyreen the Destroyer at the very end of the game.

With how Borderlands 3 is structured, you can farm her easily by tagging the checkpoint right before her boss room on Pandora, finish the fight, then reload the game if the item doesn’t drop for you.

As always, you can increase your Legendary drop rates even further by activating Mayhem Mode or playing on True Vault Hunter Mode. This does make the fight a little more challenging, so make sure you’re well-equipped for the challenge ahead.

Perks

While the stats on the Otto Idol will be random and dependent on what level you were when it dropped for you, there’s one static perk.

  • Every man for himself: Restores a percentage of max health after killing an enemy.

This perk is extremely useful as it gives you a nice source of healing even when you’re surrounded by enemies, and ensures that you’ll rarely dip into danger as long as you’re playing carefully.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the Otto Idol Legendary artifact in Borderlands 3. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
