Functional Potting Station

Best Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle Mods

If you found the potting table while setting up you Sim’s house only to promptly realize that it was purely decorative, then we can sympathize.

This mod by community creator Astraea Nevermore will add a functioning alternative to your game, a potting station that your Sim can use. It’s also less cluttered than the pack’s original, leaving more room for your Sim to work. Get that green thumb ready and download the mod here!

Fix Lot Taxes

Best Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle Mods

With Eco Lifestyle came a billing system that breaks your bills down into categories dependant on water usage, your Sims’ lot taxes, etc. The billing system introduced with it a bug capping your lot taxes at 300 simoleons, regardless of if your lot’s value was actually higher.

Bills therefore dropped significantly for expensive lots. This mod is a patch that fixes this by returning calculations to more normal values. Patch your game by downloading zhanbow’s mod here.

No More Trash Hugging

Best Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle Mods

The Recycle Disciple trait is a great addition to The Sims 4, but it brings some annoying idle animations. For instance, Sims with the trait will lovingly HUG a trash bag, and it happens pretty often.

This mod will override the animation making it so that it’s as though it never existed. Download this mod by Simularity here.

Fizzy Drinks For Kids

Best Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle Mods

We got some cool new features with Eco Lifestyle, one being fizzy drinks. Unfortunately, your child Sims are unable to drink any soda. This mod will make it so that kids can drink all of the fizzy juices except the “suspicious fizz” (sounds reasonable).

They get all of the buffs that the adults do, with some exceptions (e.g. strawberry flavor will make them playful instead of flirty). Let your Sims’ children have fun and download K9DB‘s mod here!

Container Bar

Best Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle Mods

One of our favorite features of Eco Lifestyle is the usage of containers for buildings. It’s an aesthetic we never knew we needed. This mod by spablo takes the form of a community lot for your eco-friendly neighborhood, adding a cute bar made from multi-level containers. Give your Sims the eco-friendly bar of their dreams by downloading here.

Shelves Occluder Fix

Best Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle Mods

There are some really nice items, particularly shelves, that came with the Eco Lifestyle release. However, there are a couple of them that cast an annoyingly obvious shadow because their occluders are enabled.

This mod fixed the intensity by removing the occluders and giving the shelves a more realistic appearance. If the shelf lighting issue bothers you as well, download community creator simsi45’s fix here.

New Potted Plants

Best Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle Mods

We love the plants that Eco Lifestyle introduced to The Sims 4 buy mode, but there is always room for more! This mod adds 5 new potted planets for your Sims to put on display in their eco-friendly homes. Download simsi45’s cute botanical items and decorate now here.
