Crisis of the Confederation sends you to a futuristic world where you can take the role of a military officer, politician or crime lord (aren’t those last two things the same, though?) and use your wits and influence to take a stranglehold on society. The neon flashing lights and fantastical warships are enough to make you feel like you’ve traveled into a far-off year where the possibilities are limitless. Maybe the Sacramento Kings are competent by now? Nah, not even any of the best Crusader Kings 2 mods can make those kings any good.
