What the Install Size is in Battlefield V
Battlefield V is here and as usual, it’s an extremely pretty and detailed game. However, with increased visuals, comes increased install sizes. If you’re here, you’re probably wondering what the install size is for Battlefield V.
Currently, as of the early access start date, our Battlefield V size is weighing in at 38.9 GB. However, this number could go up when the full game releases on Nov. 20. We’ll be sure to update this post with any official numbers that we are able to find.
For comparison, Battlefield 1 with all of the DLC and updates installed for Battlefield 1 currently has a file size of 74.9 GB. Considerably bigger, but Battlefield V of course has plenty of time to catch up with a year + worth of content already mapped.
You have War Stories mode and multiplayer, which includes the new Grand Operations, an evolution from the last game.
It’s not surprising then that Battlefield V would have a similar install sizes to its predecessor.
The biggest difference, obviously, is that Battlefield V takes place during World War II this time around, and focuses on some of the less “glamorized” fronts of the warm such as Northern Africa, and Scandinavia.
It’s recommended that, if you’re low on space, that you clear some up. Or, if you’re looking to add on more storage, look into purchasing an external hard drive. We have guides on how to do that for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One if you’re in need.
That does it for what the install size is for Battlefield V for the PlayStation and Xbox One. For more info about the game, take a gander at the latest multiplayer trailer, the most recent news on the status of its battle royale mode, and DICE’s approach to war stories this time around.
