If you’ve read all the reviews or tried rolling the gacha yourself, you know that the rates in this game are absolute garbage. Each roll counts, and you don’t want to spend them on bottom-tier knights and weapons, now do you? So, to help you with that, here is the definitive Astra: Knights of Veda tier list.

Astra: Knights of Veda Knights Tier List

S Tier Knights of Veda

  • Aurora (5★) — Aurora is the strongest DPS in the game, and she gets massive bonuses on Fate 1, including more stacks and a longer duration of Retribution. If you can get her exclusive bow, too, that would make her even stronger.
  • Ellen (5★) — Ellen excels at dealing with packs of enemies and is a great combo with Sarka, who complements his lack of single-target DPS.
  • Sansar (5★) — Sansar is the best melee DPS in the game. Insane crit on her attacks, plus the Fate 6 bonus is just ridiculous. However, she doesn’t have that much self-sustain, but if you can dodge, you won’t even need it.
  • Xanthia (5★) — Xanthia’s signature skill is simply OP. You can just switch to her, pop the Event Horizon, and switch back to anything you were using until then. She is just overall solid, even if you want to use her as your main DPS.
  • Nec (5★) — If you’ve pulled Nec for her looks, I don’t blame ya. You’ll also be glad to know that she is kinda strong, especially if you can get her to F1/F4 (F6 is also desirable but hard to achieve if F2P). She applies debuffs and dark resistance shred, making her excellent with dark damage dealers like Arin and Xanthia on the team. Plus, her summon is like a 5th character on your team.
  • Sorin (5★) — Sorin is a great combination of support and DPS. She can alone provide your team with all the heals they’ll ever need. Plus, she has a cleanse when you get her to F2, which is invaluable for some bosses.
  • Death Crown (5★) (New) — Death Crown is the new OP tank. He deals solid damage, he can increase his Elemental RES, and he can also shred the enemy’s Elemental RES. However, you really need him to be on F2 to get that max stack increase.

A Tier Knights of Veda

  • Sarka (5★) — I used Sarka more recently, just like Eliyar, and he is extremely good. A good pick if you need a ranged DPS.
  • Eliyar (5★) — Eliyar’s traps are extremely useful, and the DoT is very nice to have. I’ve got to test her more recently, and I’ve gotta say I’m impressed. One of the few characters you’d want to reroll for in Astra.
  • Saeya (5★) — A single copy of Saeya can literally carry you through the game. She is self-sufficient, much like Nayan, but with much better numbers on her skills.
  • Albert (5★) — Albert is the best full-tank knight in the game and a must in most game modes. This guy is ultra hard to kill, even if he has no self-heals. However, because of that, he isn’t really a character that can solo carry you.
  • Arin (5★) — I love how Arin works, and she is by far the coolest-looking knight in the game. Still, Sansar and Edward out-damage her as a melee.
  • Edward (5★) — Edward’s weapon is good, and he is one of the best pure DPSs in the game. However, he lacks utility, and there are newer characters that outperform him.
  • Emile (4★) — Not gonna lie, Emile is pretty strong for a 4-star. Her F4 and F6 passives are especially good. However, I don’t like that she gets Crit DMG bonus from fates, as it basically means that if you don’t have enough crit, then the boost won’t even count.
  • Vesti (5★) — Vesti is one of the most fun characters to play, for sure, capable of transforming a whole area into a minefield. She is best if you can get her to F4, but even if you are F2P and only have her on F0, she is solid.
  • Valeno (5★) — Valeno is a great counter to Albert. However, the DoT damage can’t crit and ticks too slow, so any of the raw DPSs out damage her. Still, she can work with Edward on the team for that DoT stack.

B Tier Knights of Veda

  • Atterisee (5★) — Atterisee got buffed, and she is okayish now. Still, considering that there are so many better 5-star characters than her, I wouldn’t advise building her.
  • Iris (4★) — Iris’s summon is pretty alright, and the 20% damage amp she provides is very nice. However, I wouldn’t say she is meta yet.
  • Elias (4★) — Elias is really strong, but getting his dupes is a real pain. His best bonus is on F6, too, so you’ll need to invest a lot to get him to work really well.
  • Andrei (4★) — Andrei better version of Liam, but with fire instead of dark. He has a lot of AoE in his kit, and the stun he gets from the passive at Fate 4 is much more useful.
  • Liam (4★) — Liam is a pure dark DMG DPS character with very little utility in his kit. I’ve got to test him out more now, and he sure delivers as far as damage goes. Use him as your main DPS until you get a 5.
  • Lucian (4★) — Lucian is the only 4 healer and the best one you’ll get early on. Plus, you can get him guaranteed from the first 10-pull on his banner. Overall, a good investment.
  • Nayan (4★) — Nayan is a self-healing tank that can solo most content. If you want to just dump everything into a single character and autofight through the early game, she is the way to go. Consider her a mini Saeya and the only self-sufficient character besides her on this Astra: Knights of Veda tier list.

C Tier Knights of Veda

  • Marthel (4★) — Marthel is amazing against water enemies, but his best trait is also on Fate 4. If he was better out of the box, he would’ve ranked higher.
  • Capecchi (4★) — Capeccchi is a solid DPS for a 4 knight. He isn’t as great on 0 Fates, though, and you’ll need a bunch of dupes to really get him rolling. However, once you do, he’ll be a menace.
  • Leon (4★) — You get Leon for free for a reason. He is a tank, and he is okay until you get a better one.
  • Orlik (4★) — Orlik is as good of a tank as Leon is, for sure, but besides that, he doesn’t have much to offer. The airborne in his kit only gets good at Fate 4, and they even nerfed that.

D Tier Knights of Veda

  • Ardor (4★) — Ardor is a more DPS-oriented version of Yanko but still subpar compared to the others.
  • Yanko (4★) — Yanko’s turrets and skills look fine on paper, but in reality, he is just an Ardor you ordered from Wish. Don’t bother with this guy unless he is the only DPS you have.
  • Rani (4★) — Rani is good at peeling for herself, and she would rank easily in B tier if her best upgrades were easier to get.

That does it for our Astra: Knights of Veda tier list. Hopefully, now you can invest your crystals and starstones into some proper knights and weapons. Also, if this guide was helpful and you want to see tier lists for other gachas, we have plenty more here on Twinfinite, including ones for Solo Leveling Arise, AFK Journey, and Monster Never Cry.
