How to Go Back and Return to the Base Game in Assassin’s Creed: Origins – The Hidden Ones

Recommended Videos

Assassin’s Creed: Origins’ first expansion is finally here in the form of The Hidden Ones. It has players venturing to a distant land of Sinai where the enemies are tougher and time has progressed four years since the end of the base game. But does it mean you have to stay there forever once you’ve made the trek? Luckily, there’s a way for you to go back in case you need to grind out some more levels.

In order to do this, head to the map within the game. Next, you’re going to want to press Y if you’re on Xbox One or Triangle if you’re on PS4. This will lead to a greater map of the world to show. You then can fast travel to some of the fast travel locations you’ve uncovered in Egypt, or back to Sinai. This makes it easy for you to keep jumping into The Hidden Ones and jumping back to the other quests you might have.

It’s important to head back if you’re too low of a level to complete some of the DLC’s quests because they truly are brutal. You’re going to want to at least be level 38 to take on the new challenges.
