Feeding Trough
As with all pets, one way to keep them happy and healthy is by feeding them meals. Each pet has a food value you have to maintain in ARK, and if it goes down too much, it will start losing health until it dies. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like you can keep all of your meals fresh without a fridge, leaving you with some spoiled food. As the name implies, it adds a feeding trough which acts as a place to store your pet’s food, keeping it fresh. It’s important to note that you will need electricity or a tek generator to keep it running since it’s a machine, after all. Once you manage to have everything up and running, you can cut time on having to search for food and focus on exploring instead.
