Wondering what the Fortnite week 7 challenges are that are due to release later this week? Well, you’re in the right place as here we’ll be running you through the complete list, giving you tips on how to complete some of the trickier ones and outlining how much XP you’ll be getting for completing each one.
As is always the case, thanks to Fortnite leaker iFireMonkey for sharing the challenges ahead of going live in the game. The quests were discovered as part of a datamine into the latest Fortnite 20.30 update where we also learned of the May the 4th Star Wars challenges. The Fortnite week 7 challenges will release on Thursday May 5th at 6:00am PT/ 9:00am ET/ 2:00pm BST.
All Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 Week 7 Quests
- Destroy a Turret Using Remote Explosives (1)
- Visit Different Named Locations in a Single Match (5)
- Disable a Tank by Damaging the Engine (1)
- Recover Stolen Seven Supplies at IO Locations (3)
- Destroy Structures with the Cow Catcher (200)
- Deal Headshot Damage with the Striker Burst Rifle (200)
- Damage Opponents with the Repair Torch (5)
The challenges above are the ones that players will receive by default. The two below are deemed ‘replacement challenges.’
- Complete a Bounty from a Bounty Board (1)
- Fuel a Vehicle with Gas (50)
Completing each challenge will earn players 20,000 XP, so there’s 140,000 XP up for grabs to go towards your Battle Pass if you complete them all.
The Fortnite week 7 challenges are actually a little more demanding of your time compared to previous weeks’ offerings. First and foremost, players will need to recover stolen Seven supplies at IO Locations. We’re assuming these will be some sort of collectible that you’ll need to seek out at the different IO bases and locations and press and hold X/ Square/ E/ Y to collect.
Depending on how well-hidden these are, this one could take a while as IO locations are likely to be very busy as players try and complete these challenges, or rack up easy eliminations on players who are trying to, so keep your guard up.
Destroying 200 structures with the Cow Catcher is a simple enough thing to do, but it could be quite time-consuming, unless you can find some huge builds from other players that have had a build off — or if you build a big ol’ tower yourself.
Finally, visiting five named locations in a single match will require you to focus on simply trying to travel around the map as fast as possible. For this one, we recommend starting around the edges of the map and working your way in to the center so the storm circle doesn’t end up cutting you off. As the final storm circles tend to be focused around the middle of the map, this should set you up nicely.
