With companies like Boston Dynamics making more impressive robots every year and AI developing at a rapid pace, we inch closer and closer to the eventual robot takeover.

However, if any of these robotics engineers took the time to play Horizon Zero Dawn, they may have thought twice before developing something so dangerous.

Horizon Zero Dawn has shown us what it might be like if these robots take a dark turn and grow a mind of their own.

With giant dinosaur-like mechanical beasts roaming the wilds, survival would be near impossible for anyone not named Aloy.

Having to equip yourself with traps, hide in bushes, and carry weapons with you at all times just to go to the grocery store or to get your mail would make for an interesting experience, sure, but it would not be feasible for your everyday person.

Living in any post-apocalyptic land would be a headache, but fill that land with giant evil robots too? No thank you!
