In a collaboration that makes so much sense, Build-A-Bear Workshop is teaming up with Animal Crossing: New Horizons to bring a special collection of toys to their stores.

Though we don’t have the details just yet, it’s fun to speculate which animals might be part of this collection to buy. The special characters like Isabelle and Tom Nook are probably guaranteed, but maybe some villagers will be included as well.

Here are 10 Animal Crossing: New Horizons villagers that would make absolutely perfect Build-A-Bear plush toys.

Stitches

Okay, we need to get the most obvious one out of the way first. Stitches is a lazy cub villager who is simply a perfect choice for an Animal Crossing Build-A-Bear plush.

First of all, he’s literally a bear. Second, he looks like you’re actually stitching him up to build him yourself. He even has patches of different colored fabrics across his body with two adorable cross-stitches for eyes.

Who wouldn’t love cuddling with a Stitches plush? He truly looks like a child’s ragdoll toy, so having an actual one in real-life Build-A-Bear style would be a dream come true.

Bunnie

Bunnie would be another great Build-A-Bear plush. She’s a peppy rabbit villager, and she’s among the most popular animals in the game.

Any rabbit villager would be a good fit for collection, especially because of their long floppy ears. Bunnie, despite her generic name, has such a distinct look that separates her from the average rabbit, which makes her a great choice.

Marshal

Marshal is another popular villager who is extremely sought after in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. He’s a smug squirrel, and his adorable design is an absolute must for a Build-A-Bear.

Just look at his squishy round head and tuft of fur on his head. His eyes say “leave me alone,” but you want to just give him a big hug anyway. Marshal is the cutest little marshmallow of a villager, and we want him as a Build-A-Bear plush right now.

Judy

Judy is a snooty cub and is one of the new villagers who was added in New Horizons.

It is clear to see that she would be a logical Build-A-Bear plush choice. Not only is she a cub, but she has a cute pastel color theme that looks like it would be great for fuzzy fur material.

Because she is a snooty villager, she’s super into fashion, so it would also be a lot of fun to dress her up with tons of clothes from the Build-A-Bear store.

Sherb

Sherb is another new villager who was added in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and he instantly became a fan-favorite. He’s a lazy goat, and boy, he is adorable.

Since he’s a lazy villager, he would make a great plush to cuddle and sleep with at night. The fur on the top of his head could be extra soft for snuggling. Put a cozy sweater on him, and you’re good to go.

Goldie

Goldie is a normal dog villager, and she’s basically the Labrador retriever who is instantly everyone’s best friend. Her universally-loved design would be a very popular Build-A-Bear.

There’s nothing to dislike about her. There are plenty of dog Build-A-Bears, so this species would make sense. Even though there are many other dog villagers, Goldie is the choice that would make nearly everybody happy.

Vladimir

Vladimir is a cranky cub villager who originally appeared in the very first Animal Crossing game for the GameCube, and has been in every installment since.

We had to mix it up a little here; Vladimir might not be the most popular villager of all time, but he’s so darn cute. His grumpy expression would make for a very charming plush that is completely full of personality.

Molly

Molly is a normal duck villager. This choice is a bit biased; I have a soft spot for Molly as she was one of my favorite villagers from New Leaf. She’s upbeat, kind, and fun, which makes her completely lovable.

Her oversized head would make a ridiculously cute Build-A-Bear plush. We’ll take any duck villager plush please; they are far too underrated and need more mainstream love with some official merchandise.

Roald

The Animal Crossing: New Horizons collection would be incomplete without a penguin plush, and Roald is the right choice for this.

He’s a jock penguin who’s all about working out, though you wouldn’t be able to tell by his plump, round figure. Any penguin villager like Roald would be so squishy and lovable as a Build-A-Bear plush, and how could you resist those eyes?

Maple

Finally, it would be a crime to leave out Maple in an Animal Crossing: New Horizons collection. She’s a normal cub villager, and her design could easily be the face of the entire Build-A-Bear collection.

She looks quite similar to any other brown bear you’d see at Build-A-Bear, but she has a few features that stand out from the rest. Her rosy cheeks, cute eyelashes, and bangs of fur at the top of her head give her a distinct look, not to mention the tips of her hands and legs are a lighter color.

Maple is such an obvious choice for this collection, and it would be disappointing if she wasn’t included.
