The latest iteration of Battletoads is finally here and with it a decently sized adventure for fans new and old to dig their teeth into. Not everyone has an infinite well of time to draw from for gaming though, and if you’re one such person, you’re probably wondering: how long does it take to beat Battletoads?
Fortunately, we’ve done the leg work and have the answers you’re looking for.
How Long Does it Take to Beat Battletoads? Answered
To cut right to the chase, it takes roughly 8 hours to beat Battletoads’ four acts.
This may vary in either direction based off of your skill level. If you’re experienced in side-scrolling brawlers and can adapt to sections where the gameplay changes things up, you could beat the game more quickly.
On the other hand, if you’re newer to the genre and caught off guard by sections of the game which throw new mechanics at you, it may take you as long as 10 or 12 hours.
This is also only accounting for a standard run of the game. Attempting a run on a higher difficulty, or runs wherein you try to track down every collectible, will pad the runtime further.
It shouldn’t be too extreme of an increase in playtime though, and you should still be able to enjoy all the game has to offer in roughly 20 hours at most.
That’s really all there is to it. Battletoads is a comfortably compact experience, and most anyone can expect to hop in and out of it with minimal time investment.
