Dreams has been a long time coming, even being in early access for nearly a year before launching fully recently. Just as Media Molecule’s other games have, it’s launched for the current PlayStation console. If you’re a big fan of Microsoft’s series of consoles but want to create some games and levels, here’s everything you need to know about whether Dreams is coming to Xbox One.
While Dreams has a story mode called Art’s Dream, as well as a bunch of player created levels, it’s a platform for creating more than anything else. With a huge set of tools and objects, you can create pretty much anything you can imagine, whether it be a recreation or something entirely new.
Is Dreams Coming to Xbox One?
As of right now, Dreams is exclusive to PS4. You can look through what people have created via the inDreams website, but you’ll not actually be able to play or create anything unless you have a PS4 and have bought Media Molecule’s game.
And, there’s very little chance that the game ever comes to Xbox One. With Media Molecule being a first party Sony studio, its games will likely stay exclusive to PlayStation platforms, just as the rest tend to.
A very few others have made their way to PC over the years, such as the upcoming Death Stranding release, but I wouldn’t keep your hopes up about the same thing happening with Dreams.
If that ever changes and Dreams does come to Xbox One at some point in the future, we’ll be sure to let you know by updating this guide.
