About a month since the official release of Borderlands 3, and there are still so many crazy weapons with great potential to be discovered, provided you have the right builds for them. How to Get Projectile Recursion in Borderlands 3

The good (or bad, depending on how you look at it) news is that the Projectile Recursion can be obtained from any loot source, and is not farmed from any specific bosses.

This means that you have a chance of obtaining the weapon as you play through the game, killing regular bosses, elites, and enemies. As always, there are a couple of things you can do to increase your Legendary drop rate in Borderlands 3.

The first is by activating Mayhem tier 3, which is unlocked by beating the story campaign. This makes enemies tougher, but also increases your drop rates quite drastically.

The second is by playing True Vault Hunter Mode, which is basically the new game plus feature in Borderlands 3.

Stats and Perks

As always, the damage numbers are going to be slightly different for each pickup, but the perks of the Projectile Recursion will remain consistent throughout.

The description of the Projectile Recursion might seem a little confusing, but essentially what it means is that the Shotgun will fire off projectiles that bounce off on impact. This also means that it isn’t a very effective gun for one-on-one encounters, but can be extremely deadly in tight spaces with tons of enemies around you. You get the description now? Because you’re bouncing between the two? It’s a bouncing projectile? No? Ok.

Pair that up with Amara’s Indiscriminate, and you’ve got a very deadly combo with bouncing projectiles that are just hitting everything around you.

That’s all you need to know about how to get the Projectile Recursion in Borderlands 3, and what it does. Be sure to check our Borderlands 3 guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
