How to Turn Off the Pre Pitch Camera in MLB The Show 21

In case you’re not 100% sure what we’re referring to, the pre-pitch camera is an angle the camera takes in between certain pitches to give a dramatic look including the pitcher, the batter, and the field; and your pitch select buttons are listed on the bottom of the screen when this happens.

It’s honestly really pretty, and I can see why San Diego Studios added it. However, it does slow down the game, and if you’re trying to grind out games as fast as possible in a mode such as Diamond Dynasty, you might not want anything that’s going to require a couple of extra seconds and button presses.

To turn off the pre-pitch camera in MLB The Show 21, go to Settings in the Main Menu, and then Presentation. From there, you want to look for Pitch Selection Camera Frequency. And once you’re there, make sure you set it to “None” to remove all of the angles that take place before the pitch.

You can always turn it back on, and if you are a fan of more realistic-looking games, we suggest turning it on as long as you don’t mind the games running a bit longer.

That does it for how to turn off the pre-pitch camera in MLB The Show 21. Best of luck this season!
