Are There Any Missable Trophies in Kingdom Hearts 3?

Recommended Videos

Kingdom Hearts 3 took more than a decade to come out and now that it’s here, what better way to celebrate its release than by going for the elusive platinum trophy. Here’s everything you need to know about whether there are any missable trophies in Kingdom Hearts 3?

Kingdom Hearts 3 is easily the beefiest game in the series. Although it has fewer worlds than what we’ve seen in past entries, each world in Kingdom Hearts 3 comes packed with so much more content than we’ve ever seen.

Whereas in past games, a world might be done and over with in just an hour or two, it’s unlikely you’ll finish a Kingdom Hearts 3 world in under three hours (unless you’re rushing, of course, but who wants to do that? Explore!)

Like past platinum trophies for the series, getting the platinum trophy in Kingdom Hearts 3 requires you to do a lot during your playthroughs in the game. However, for the first time in the franchise, you can get the platinum in one single playthrough.

In games past, you had to beat the game on the hardest difficulty, defeat secret bosses and more, and while elements of those parameters are still in Kingdom Hearts 3, you can get every trophy in a single playthrough now. To do that, though, it’s important that before progressing to the final level, you take a look back at the game’s trophy list.

Technically speaking, there are no missable trophies. That’s because anything you do miss can be completed before finishing the game.

There will be a point before you start the final world — and you’ll know what this world is — where you can visit worlds you’ve previously visited. This is how you can knock out trophies that require you to find treasures and the hidden mickey-like Lucky Emblems.

You’ll also need to travel to worlds you’re previously visited to defeat secret bosses mandated by the trophy list, synthesize the Ultima weapon, find ingredients, and more. At the end of the day, Kingdom Hearts 3’s trophy list can best be summed up as a list that requires you to find virtually every collectible in the game before completing it.

Now, of course, if you’ve already completed the game, you’re free to load up a save from before the game’s final world or just outright start the game over — whichever you prefer.

What we’re trying to say is that to earn the platinum trophy, simply play through the game at your own leisure. Before heading into the final world, though, pull up a trophy guide and make your way back through previous worlds to finish up any trophies you haven’t already completed.

With that done, head to the final world and enjoy moments you’ve waited 13 years for. You’ve earned it.

When you finish the game and watch the epilogue and secret ending, you’ll see the platinum trophy pop up on your screen. Congrats!

That’s everything you need to know about whether there are any missable trophies in Kingdom Hearts 3?
