How to Save in Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Recommended Videos

Kingdom Come Deliverance is a sprawling RPG set in a huge open world medieval setting. You’ll find yourself easily getting lost in its great expanse, and short play sessions quickly turn into much longer ones than anticipated as one quest rolls into another. Just as you’d expect from any modern video game, your progress is automatically saved when you start a new quest or advance to an important event. So don’t worry too much about losing a huge amount of progress if something goes wrong during your longer sessions.

However, you won’t always want to rely on the autosave function, especially if you’ve arrived at a destination between quests or you’re embarked on an activity unrelated to a quest or main event. And thankfully, there’s a manual save option to help you out in these situations. As with everything in Kingdom Come Deliverance, the unique save mechanic is built around realism.

Players can manually save their game by doing one of three activities: visiting your house and sleeping in your own bed, visiting a bathhouse, or drinking an alcoholic beverage called Saviour Schnapps. Saviour Schnapps can be either brewed by Alchemy or bought from an innkeeper or most general traders. Since you’ll want to always have the option to save handy, make sure you’re well stocked with this item and are keeping some handy during your adventure.

That’s everything you need to know in order to save your game in Kingdom Come Deliverance. For more useful information on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
