Mod your way across the wasteland!
This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

The open beta for Fallout 4 Mods and the Creation Kit is finally here. Following the success of the closed beta, PC players everywhere can finally experience it for themselves.  Just like what Bethesda did in the past with the Elder Scrolls Creation Kit, players will be given tools to better mod and create their custom features for the game. The Fallout 4 Creation Kit is a free download and has a helpful Wiki for those who are new to the tool.

If playing what the community creates interests you more, then accessing player created content is made easier then ever. Once you download the 1.5 update from the Steam Beta, the library of user generated content will be easy to access, rate and download.

For more information on the Creation Kit and instructions on how to download the 1.5 update, go to Bethesda’s official website.

Mods will be available for Xbox One in May and PlayStation 4 in June.
