Is The Finals Down? How to Check Server Status

No one every said getting to The Finals would be a smooth journey.

Though The Finals is a relatively new game in the multiplayer FPS genre, it has garnered plenty of attention. In its current state, that popularity has led to some instability. If you’re having trouble playing The Finals, there are a few easy ways to check the game’s current status.

Are The Finals Servers Down?

Developer Embark Studios dropped the 1.5.0 patch on Jan. 17, but there have been scattered reports of things being a little rocky for some players. However, the lack of a Downdetector page means it’s hard to get a grasp on possible problems.

The developers also have yet to acknowledge any issues officially, so whatever players are facing might simply be a slight hiccup that will resolve itself shortly. We will be sure to keep an eye out on social media for players to report on the status of the game themselves. For the time being, you will have to sit tight. Hopefully, more official server checkers will start popping up soon.

How to Check The Finals Servers

Though The Finals is a month old at this point, there are still not a lot of established places to check on the game’s status. Your best bet for a first stop would be the official Twitter account for The Finals. A good secondary source would be Embark Studios’ Twitter Page. If anything goes majorly wrong with the game or its servers, either of these will likely be how the developers reach out.

As the game is still relatively new, it hasn’t yet gotten a foothold on tracking sites like Downdetector. We keep looking out for that, but it shouldn’t be too long until it pops up.

Hopefully, this helps you keep track of The Finals server status to keep you earning skins. If you experience any error codes or further issues, please let us know in the comments.
